Vegetable Thoran

Ingredients (5)
- coconut or vegtable oil1 tbsp
- black mustard seeds1 tsp
- onion1
- green chillies1
- turmeric powder1 pinch
Method

Vegetable of your choice ( grated carrot, cut spinach, cut beans, cut cabbage)

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds

Once the mustard seeds splatters add onion

Once the onion is translucent add turmeric powder, green chillies and coconut. Fry for a while

If using beans sprinkle water( cover and cook for 5 minutes in low flame)

Quick way for beans

Add 2 tablespoons of water to pressure cooker

Layer as follows:-

chopped beans- 2 cups

Turmeric powder β a pinch

Shredded coconut β ΒΌ cup

Close the pressure cooker with whistle. Keep in 9 for two whistles

Switch of the stove and release the pressure and remove the whisle
