Schezwan sauce

Ingredients (8)

  • vegetable oil150 ml
  • red chilly paste150 g
  • garlic100 g
  • ginger50 g
  • celery3 tbsp
  • white vinegar3 tbsp
  • salt
  • water as per the consistency

Method

  1. 1

    In a pan heat the oil on high flame.

    Once the oil is smoking add garlic and stir it till it turn lightly golden. -

    Add ginger and stir fry on high flame. -

    Add celery sticks. -

  5. 5

    Add chilli paste and let it cook properly then add water and let it cook. -

    Add vinegar, salt to taste -

  7. 7

    Cover the sauce with a lid and let it cook for 15 minutes on a low flame -

  8. 8

    Schezwan Sauce is ready!
