Method

Wash Toor dhal and add 1 cup water, garlic in instant pot and pressure cook for 5 minutes

Once it is ready, in another pan, add oil. Once the oil is heated add mustard seeds, once it splatters, add onion and let it become translucent.

Add turmeric powder and sambhar powder, mix well

Add ΒΌ cup water and cover and cook in low flame till the vegetable are cooked

Once the vegetable are cooked, add the cooked dhal, tamarind paste. Check the consistency and add more water if required. Add salt

Once it boils add coriander leaves and the switch off the stove.

Taste. If needed add little salt.
