Garlic tamarind curry

  • garlic1 cup
  • onion1 cup
  • tamarind paste1 tbsp
  • oil1 tbsp
  • mustard seeds1 tsp
  • turmeric powder0.25 tsp
  • sambhar powder1 tsp
  • salt

Method

    Peel the skin of the garlic

    Add oil in a pan, add mustard seeds

  3. 3

    When the mustard seed splutters, add garlic

  4. 4

    Then add chopped onions, fry till translucent

  5. 5

    Add tomatoes, add turmeric powder, sambhar powder, fry well

    Add tamarind paste

    Add 2 cups of water, add salt and allow to boil, once it boils slow the fire and allow to simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add chopped coriander leaves.
